A small shop with a very large toy box
MONIKA TOYS started as one counter of soft toys on Rokadnath Road. Today it is the shop Vadodara parents call when a birthday is tomorrow.
How it began
The shop opened with a simple idea: children should be able to hold a toy before it is bought. Screens can show you a photo; they cannot tell you whether the teddy is soft enough, whether the block set smells of cheap paint, or whether the remote car survives a drop from the sofa.
So we buy the way a parent would. Every new item is opened, handled and — honestly — played with at the counter before it goes on the shelf. If it feels flimsy, it does not get stocked, however good the margin looks.
What grew from that is a range covering the whole of childhood: rattles and soft toys for the first year, shape sorters and block sets for toddlers, board games and puzzles for the school years, and remote-control racers for the ones who think they have outgrown toys.
A note from the counter
“Most of our customers are not shopping — they are solving a problem. A birthday party in two hours. A cousin visiting. A child who has been promised something for a good report card. My job is to know the shelf well enough to hand you the right toy in two minutes, in your budget, without a sales pitch.

We will talk you out of a toy that is two years too advanced. A frustrated child is not a happy customer.

No inflated tag waiting to be bargained down. The price you are quoted on WhatsApp is the price at the counter.
We stand behind it
If something arrives faulty in the box, bring it back with the bill and we will sort it out. No arguments.
